         Mary Rose biography:

Hello, my name is MaryRose DeDios, born in the Philippines but raised in NewYork. As I was growing up I was a very shy girl, always to myself. That carried on to high school, until junior year of h.s. My English teacher at that time asked me what I wanted to do as a part of play production. She gave me a choice of being an actress or working back stage since it was part of my grade, so I chose to be an actress since I didn't know much about back stage work. I auditioned for the play " A Romeo and Juliet love story." I got in the play. As it went along I started to feel more comfortable on stage, facing people, and boosted some of my confidence. I knew then I wanted to do something in the spot light after doing three different plays being one of them was a musical.

During the theater days I became interested in fashion and modeling, I started with a simple camera and the mirror. I learned that the mirror will be your best friend just cause of the simple fact you see your self and your reflection. Every photos I will strike a pose, practicing my face expression. I even tried NEW FACE. I did some photoshoots with them and auditioned for a commercial. The only issue was they wanted us to keep paying and we didn't always have the money so I stopped NEW FACE. That did not stop me though, I had some friends who was practicing photography and I will go out to do some photoshoots with them. I continued that, not too long I created the account model mayhem. In model mayhem that's where I got my first photographer. We did a lot of TFCD. I remember doing my first shoot in RIVER SIDE PARK in the city. My mother father and brother came for support. From there my photographer DEX had always done photoshoots. I also did a photoshoot in montoinette studio, one of my picture was actually hung to be displayed. As I was entering college I had a friend who was doing a music video and they needed some girls to audition. I became interested auditioned and got accepted.

Once I got accepted to the auditioned my friend had told LT I was in modeling and LT manages models. So I did a few photoshoots with him, so he can see what my abilities were. After a few weeks, I signed a management contract with LT MANAGEMENT. During training I learned alot about modeling, the mechanics of heels, how your eyes and face expression and yourself needs to connect with the camera and your body will just follow through. Modeling is not just all about posing but the connection you have within the camera lense and the story you want to portray out. Three months down I got pregnant and had to stop, even then I told myself I was not going to stop my dream as a model. After one year of giving birth I went back to modeling. I continued with modeling even though I have two kids, its something I know within me I did not want to give up. Every time I model or being in front of the camera I'm in my own world I tell the story that I want to be heard. Its like I'm dancing as I take a picture. I learned not to give up even through the hardest times because I want to reach my dream, I want to teach my kids and other young woman that nothing is impossible, cause the word impossible has the word possible in it
